OUR AFFILIATIONS
Pet Care Services Association
We are a member of the Pet Care Services Association (PCSA), formerly known as the American Boarding Kennel Association, and we employ only PCSA Certified Pet Care Technicians. The PCSA is an international trade association for the owners and operators of commercial boarding kennels. As an PCSA participating boarding kennel, the Hassayampa Canine Resort & Spa continually demonstrates adherence to a comprehensive set of operational standards. These standards include over 200 detailed requirements for boarding kennels and were developed over many years that reflect the standards and professional views of kennel operators, veterinarians, pet owners, and humane organizations and thus represent the "state of the art" in animal care and management.
Yavapai Humane Society
We are proud to be a supporter and contributor to the Yavapai Humane Society. The mission of the Yavapai Humane Society is to create a community environment that respects the worth of animals. The Society’s objectives include: sheltering and healing animals entrusted to it, securing quality homes for homeless animals, providing and advocating spay/neuter programs to eliminate over-population, providing education and resources that promote responsible pet ownership thus ending the needless suffering of animals, and finally, providing volunteer activities that enhance and grow the mission of the Yavapai Humane Society. The Hassayampa Canine Resort & Spa is committed to responsible pet ownership.
The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) is a professional organization of individual dog trainers who are committed to becoming better trainers through education. The APDT offers individual pet dog trainers a respected and concerted voice in the dog world. The Hassayampa Canine Resort & Spa and the APDT continue to promote professional trainers to the veterinary profession and to increase public awareness of dog friendly training techniques.
Prescott Chamber of Commerce
The Hassayampa Canine Resort & Spa is a member of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce. The mission of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce is to promote its membership by enhancing the overall business environment of Prescott. The Chamber accomplishes this mission by promoting economic development and transportation, volunteerism, tourism, lobbying local, regional, and state government and supporting local arts.
