BOARDING SUITES

The boarding suites at the Hassayampa Canine Resort & Spa feature heating and cooling systems that are specifically designed and constructed to meet the unique environmental needs of our canine guests. Specially designed HVAC systems ensure up to 8 complete air exchanges per hour throughout the kennels, providing a constant stream of fresh clean air to maximize the health and comfort of all our canine clients. Suites include in-floor radiant heating during the cooler winter months. Each boarding suite is equipped with an automatic canine drinking fountain with an unlimited supply of cool, filtered water.

The boarding suites are constructed of a fully customized kennel system from the Horst Company. The Horst Company is recognized as the industry leader offering the highest quality kennel systems available. Each kennel is designed and constructed to be the safest and the most sanitary of all customized kennels systems.

Each kennel at the Hassayampa Canine Resort & Spa utilizes privacy panels which provide a solid barrier between the runs. The privacy panels are constructed of Polymax material and stainless steel. 

Privacy panels between each run are placed on both sides of the frame to help reduce kennel noise and discourage disrespectful behavior among kennel guests. The solid panels between each kennel provide for an extremely high degree of sanitation and hygiene, a calmer and more private atmosphere, and an overall reduction of noise and anxiety.

  

The Hassayampa Canine Resort & Spa has four oversized executive suites available for our extra special guests. These executive suites feature individual observation cameras and flat screen televisions that feature the Animal Planet or movie favorites. 

  

The kennels are bright, safe and comfortable. All kennels are equipped with resting beds. 

  

SANITATION
  

The Hassayampa Canine Resort & Spa utilizes a SMT high pressure cleaning system throughout the boarding facility. All kennel runs utilize an in-floor drain system that channels wastes, cleaning and sanitizing agents into the municipal sanitary wastewater system. The removal of the waste promotes an odor and bacteria free environment. Also, kennel floors and walls are constructed of textured porcelain tile that provide excellent sanitation properties. 
   

PLAYTIMES
  
For the benefit of our guests, the Hassayampa Canine Resort & Spa has created an indoor playroom, an outdoor covered playground with K-9 grass and wading pools in addition to several large outdoor play yards.  All guests at the Hassayampa Canine Resort & Spa will enjoy seven (7) one-on-one playtimes each day in one of our indoor or outdoor play yards or playgrounds.  All kennel guests are exercised outside their suites every 90 minutes throughout the day.

  

  

  

Puppies -  must be completed with their four shot series prior to boarding.

  

FEEDING

  

We feed California Natural Chicken and Rice dog food. By providing dogs with one protein source (chicken) and one carbohydrate source (rice), California Natural minimizes the potential for allergies that frequently cause ear infections, rashes, flaking itching skin, and dermatosis.

  

We encourage guests to arrive with an adequate amount of the food they would normally have at home. We will prepare all meals just the way our guests request them.
